Compression therapy

Frequently asked questions

01

 What is compression therapy?

Compression therapy is a treatment that uses a device comprised of an intermittent pneumatic controller, inflatable sleeves, and a connectable hose. The sleeves are fitted around the affected body part, such as the legs. These sleeves are then attached to the controller that intermittently fills the sleeves with air to create pressure around the affected limbs and then deflates them.  Compression therapy works by promoting blood flow to the muscles that may improve performance as well as aid in recovery.
